Where Does Thailand Fit In?

Post by MrPlum »

I know. I know. 'The End Of The World Is Nigh'.

There can't be many, still capable of independent thought, who don't understand what is happening in the world today... in that shadowy elites are directing world affairs in such a way as to achieve World Government, A World Court, World Bank and so on. The blatant ignoring of the people's wishes not to have a European superstate is a clear example of this goal. The message is, you WILL have unaccountable world government whether by consensus or force.

There is no doubt that dissent is being stifled at home. The 'unpatriotic' smear works a treat. Rather than crawl under a rock in fear as the Germans did before Hitler's little 'Shock and Awe' campaign, I would like to open up the discussion and attempt to gauge the implications for us ex-pats who might have our cosy little existences disrupted, possibly violently.

Everyone can see the militarization of the UK and US police forces and the rapid expansion of Big Brother. This is a similar pattern to that found in third world economies where the Police were turned into paramilitaries and death squads extinguished opposition. What this is leading to must concern us all.

People are beginning to wake up yet no one seems to know what to do. The elites in the US and UK have all the bases covered. Certainly I don't, although if I had a bit more cash, I would already be scouting around for a hiding place. Some innocuous Island that has no mineral or oil wealth, with a cave above sea level, where another engineered Tsunami can't get me.

I'm not advocating rebellion, too old and knackered, although I would rather be dead than a micro-chipped slave.

The question for me is, where does Thailand fit in? I see no signs yet of the Black Helicopters and new Gestapo. Thailand doesn't appear to have the money or the political ideology to adopt this course. Yet. Perhaps if a new world war is engineered China will flood into Asia anyway. The end result could be the same. Panic and chaos. Not to mention Chinese masters who have a score or two to settle with westerners. The Opium wars not the least of them.

If Iran is attacked and Russia and China takes sides. If you believe in the Illuminati, who is there who opposes them? What about when food becomes scarce? Will your homes be robbed? You? What will happen if oil hits $200 a barrel? Are the food hikes a retaliation due to Asia stopping buying U.S. securities?

What are others thinking? Are you the head in the sand, the quivering coward, the 'I'll face it when it happens' or the 'I've already built a shelter in my backyard' type? Will you head into the countryside where people are more self-sufficient? Won't all of those in cities do the same?

Frankly I'm looking for guys who are prepared to talk about this, perhaps even meet to discuss how we can help each other should it be necessary or even educate those who are still swallowing the nonsense spewed by 'The Matrix'.

Perhaps you put your faith in religion. Was Ratzinger's time in the Hitler Youth really of no consequence? What do you make of the hypocritical pals act with Bush? What spells were they chanting in the Vatican?

Why the plethora of movies on weather calamities, the occult and magic like Harry Potter, 'the aliens are coming' stories trotted out by the likes of David Icke or Sid Meier and Hollywood? What are they setting us up for?

You may feel there is no urgency but supermarket shelves and bottled water could disappear overnight if there were a sudden shock. Are you wise to be complacent? Are you buying gold in case the corrupt paper money system collapses and your savings and investments are wiped out?

Would you skip the trip to Immigration if all hell breaks loose? Or risk being herded into camps?

You ex-military types. How are your jungle survival skills these days? Where can I buy battery-less radios? Torches? Water treatments? Iodine?

I know there are those who are fearful of Big Brother online snoops. All I will say to them is this 'A coward dies a thousand deaths, while a brave man dies but once'. More than 95% of all comments on the BBC 'Have Your Say' were against the EU. Are they all to die? What percentage hate Bush. 75%? More? The spooks 'lists' must be mighty long. IMO exposing the plots is our only defence.

I think the internet will be taken down quickly if war starts or too many people wake up. Might as well take advantage while we have the opportunity.

What say you?

You know Mr. Plum I've been hearing pretty much the same thing for the last 40 years. I think they called it the Aryan Nation when it started last time. They all got together and formed strongholds to fight off the bad guys. They are still waiting.

But do get ready, some day it just may happen.

Me? I think I will just go on enjoying life. To each his own.

Agree with the above to some extent - the paranoia inducing propaganda that has been going on for years is a tool to control the masses - just as religion is on a wider scale. Its just now days with more free information flow and technology we hear more about it.

With regards to Thailand it has always been of strategic and geographical importance to the US which is why Uncle Sam has been funding the Thai military for the last 60 odd years. China is the key though and they are already here in Thailand, they have been since the fifteenth century. When the brown stuff does hit fan and the missiles start flying make sure you have a big hole to crawl into as neither really like foreigners, they just tolerate us.

Very interesting thread :thumb:

Order out of Chaos

The International banker and corporate pirates are sticking it to us in a myriad different ways and stepping up the pace. Food shortages, commodity price hikes, earthquakes, cyclones and floods (a product of HAARP?).

I'm moving away from complacency and into the 'hope for the best, prepare for the worst' camp.

I think that more or less covers it. One addition to the comment is that the control of the masses has been going on ever since man stayed still and grew crops instead of being a nomadic hunter.

The difference now is that the whole world can be controlled by one group. China is certainly a threat and a war would not be the for drawn conclusion that many think.

China has an enormous manufacturing capability and would benefit from a lengthy struggle.

I believe that all of the countries in eastern mainland Asia would side with China voluntarily or by force. Bordering countries like the Stans and the unfriendly middle eastern countries (maybe even Russia) would probably just play it by ear and go with whoever they thought at the time.

I think and east west conflict is inevitable but not necessarily in the foreseeable future. Rising fuel and food prices could accelerate it though.

Thailand is already controlled by the Chinese at the business and political levels and I think that in the event of any hostile actions by either side the ex-pats in Thailand would suffer the same fate as the Japanese in the US at the start of WW2.

Perhaps this thread could be merged with this one.
