Fight Club

Post by JD »

I am today suffering from a fat tongue. This is the result of a well placed uppercut punch, that forced me to bite my own tongue. It is very painful, it is giving me slurred speech, it hurts when I eat, or drink anything with any fizz in it (beer). I also suffered a kick in the groin that left me rolling on the floor for what seemed like an hour. Still a bit tender two days after this attack.

Warning, never, ever, buy those kids boxing gloves from the toy venders and give them to a four year old.

We were having our nightly ‘wear the little tyke out’ session. He’s had the gloves for about a week now. He knows the drill, I get on my knees, so we are closer in height, he punches away at me, and I counter with a few fakes and jab him with a finger in all the tickley places while avoiding the punches.

Well he’s been watching what I’ve been doing, threw a fake of his own, smacked me with the uppercut, when my hands went up to my mouth after I’d bitten my tongue, he then placed a well stiff kick right in the gonads.

The wife thought it hilarious, the boy even put one foot on me like he’d just shot a rhino or something.

Last night we went back to wrestling, the gloves have been put away for a while. I’ll be booking him in to take on Buksi with some Kung Fu sparring at the next available time slot.
