Yes, it seems a harmless enough pastime to me; I sometimes read a book on the beach which is perhaps even less exciting.
Re: Sad
Books not exciting? Put down 'The history of woman's weekly' and get a good Stephen King or Frederick Forsyth.STEVE G wrote: Yes, it seems a harmless enough pastime to me; I sometimes read a book on the beach which is perhaps even less exciting.

I used to be an avid reader and seem to have let it go in favour of the internet. You could argue I'm still reading but at a cost to my eyesight, radiation damage to my frontal lobes and with the surety that I have been listed as a dissident by a Mossad assassination squad. If the Frisbee explodes while in my hands, you'll know whodunnit.

What would be your preferred set of activities in and around Hua Hin on a day off or daily basis ? Tossing a frisbee around on the beach and having a few beers sounds alright to me from me to time of a lazy afternoon .As there is a a cross section of people who do and do not work here perhaps you could describe a weekends activities starting from friday lunchtime until end of play sunday .If a few people contribute then others might realise what activities are available in and around Hua Hin .
If the OP feels this may hijack the thread then please can the mods move it .

I actually enjoy a good book, but after the three versions of NIST reports on buildings falling down that you and Jockey have had me reading for the last couple of weeks, anything will seem exciting!MrPlum wrote:Books not exciting? When and where?
Preference is before the sun strips the flesh off me. 8-10am any day or after 3pm.
Yes..a good reply.... I play golf... and its not everyones choice and I realise that may be beyond a lot of people but there you are.....thats life.....throwing a frisbee about a beach and drinking beer seems to me that you need a few beers to throw a piece of plastic about a beach..but to each its own..and if throwing a piece of cheap plastic about a beach floats your boat...........then so be it...enjoy...crazy88 wrote:Bjimmy

I had more fun with a 30p plastic football when I was a kid than I've ever had with my wife.
Condom - cheap bit of pasticy-rubber-like material - loadsa fun.
Visa card, plastic and fun, particularly if it's your husbands
Chelsea fans - plastic and happy.
Anyways I'm not going, frisbeeing is gay.
