All of these dog problems are down to the sheer stupidity of humans.
Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't dream of keeping such dogs in the same house as a child. How many times do have we heard 'Devil Dog' owners say 'He was such a lovely dog'?
On the subject of poisoning, it's not always aggressive dogs that suffer. We suspect a neighbour poisoned a young and playful dog who would greet everyone in the Soi. Guess they didn't want him coming to their gate.
I think one of the problems is when people keep these dogs caged up all day. Understandably any dog will go a bit loopy if you treat it like that; in Nong Ki I know of a builders merchant who has a Rotwieller guard dog that he puts in cage all day and lets into the building when it’s closed.
The thing is absolutely nasty and tries to attack everything in sight, which I imagine is the owners intention, but I would hate to think what could happen if it escaped.
