Yearly Visa

Post by Gail »

Just a quick question, yearly visa due to expire 7th October but 90 day reporting is 15th September. Do you think they will do my yearly one at the same time I report for my 90 day? I was just thinking of saving a trip there and the mountain of paper work it always entails.

They should do, I renewed my annual extension about 3 weeks before it expired. I anticipated problems with Hua Hin's labour department for the work permit ... and got them!

Imm normally like you to apply for the extension 2 weeks or so before your permitted to stay stamp expires. This allows you the time to get any papers you may have missed.
They may not want to process anything if you've got more than a month left, although there are extenuating circumstances, such as travel.
