Some days in the past I did enough drugs to kill an elephant. Had no problem taking the vaccine.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

"According to the Nation Thailand report, a number of Covid-19 patients have become infected despite having 2 doses of Sinovac or 1 dose of AstraZeneca."

Surely it's commonly accepted that vaccination doesn't cover immunity from infection, but mitigates the risk of serious illness.

Low levels of immunity, at less than 20%, are being seen in some people who were vaccinated on the same day and with the same vaccine, leading Thiravat to speculate that there may have been an issue with a particular batch. He adds that some of those showing very low levels of immunity have underlying health conditions, including diabetes, which will have an impact on their immune system.
I very much doubt it was a bad batch. This doctor in an interview posted yesterday is saying the same thing. 10-20% of the population, who happen to be in the most vulnerable category are not getting antibody's from the vaccines.

Yes, but for reasons that excape me completely you seem to be desperate for vaccines to be unsuccessful.

As soon as Delingpole uttered the word 'biofascism' it was clear that objectivity was not going to be a feature of this (hour-long) video interview with a GP specialising in aesthetics.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, experts are saying that although infections are up due to the Delta variant, the number of serious illnesses and lengthy hospitalisations is not increasing.
This is the way

I’ve been surprised by how many of my (on paper) well educated farang neighbours think a vaccine must:
a) give 100% protection against even mild infection
b) have zero side effects (even mild ones) for 100% of people vaccinated

This would be funny if it weren’t for the fact that such ignorance opens them up to all sorts of hoaxers, conspiracy theorists and deliberate troublemakers

I can't validate this warning, but Richard Barrow has issued an urgent warning to anybody using this site that any information input is openly available to anybody i.e. it is NOT a hack, simply displayed to anybody who wants to view it.

I have attempted to access the site myself, but it seems to have been taken down now.

^^ I saw someone on Twitter posted that he tried to check his details on it but mistakenly entered the wrong registration detail and got a full view of somebody else's details.

This is typical of most Thai websites and apps - absolutely zero security or data encryption. This is why I won't allow them near my phone.

The phrase, 'fit for purpose' comes to mind, again.

This is day 8 of this app - I guess it's long overdue to be replaced anyway. Well past it's use by date.

Another highly effective Covid vaccine is announced.
Novavax's two-dose COVID-19 vaccine had an overall efficacy of 90%, with 100% efficacy against moderate and severe disease, the manufacturer announced on Monday.

In even better news, it seems even to be effective against the variants. Again - as per the manufacturer's announcement:
An exploratory analysis involving sequenced cases of variants of concern or interest -- 38 in the placebo group and six in the vaccine group -- demonstrated a vaccine efficacy of 93.2% (95% CI 83.1-97.1).
