Ah, now I understand...

From the Oxford English Dictionary:

Arcadian [noun] (Ar, as in arse, cad, as in cad, Ian, as in nerd)

1. Student of ancient history

2. rural, rustic, or pastoral, especially suggesting simple, innocent contentment.

Kind of like, eerm, run the English game.

Ban and fine people, let Ferguson and United off for everything, decide if Referees awful decisions should be brushed under the carpet or not. etc etc.

I would have preferred JT to play on Saturday - is Bale injured yet?

Nice one BaaBaa

Anyway - I think even a neutral would admit that in a Spurs Vs Chelsea game, Spurs at home WITH diver Bale must be a good bet, when Chelsea are WITHOUT Terry the Gob..........

Hoping for a good game - if the bloody Cable TV in Hanoi is back in time. It was off this morning. :guns:

It's not just Bale though. We're missing Assou-Ekotu as well, but Naughton is on the bench and without them as well as Bale there is no threat from the left. It still keeps going that way though! We're also missing Kaboul.
We have a centre back, Vertonghen, who keeps appearing in the Bale spot today for some reason. Dempsey is playing in the VdV position but is not in the same class. Nor does Sigurdsson do it for me. And why did we sign Adebayor? Put the bastard on the park FFS. Gallas is playing like an old man and Dawson, who has rarely put a foot wrong for Spurs, is sitting on the bench.

We may well end up with more shots on goal, but at the moment Chelsea are looking worth their lead - just.
AVB has relied on luck so far against some poor teams and at Old Trafford - but now it's time to step up. Defoe is not a one-man strike force. Play 2 up front please, at least for a while, and see what happens. We need something special from Lennon, Defoe and hopefully Adebayor in the 2nd half.

Yes but no dembele either. At least we're level now. But Gallas I have felt that maybe someone else!
