Play football, no way, kill off the game. :neener:
Hodgson wouldn't have been my pick but to go for broke against Arsenal with 10 men would've been stupid.

99.9% of coaches would've done what he did, keep it tight and hit on the break, he was a freak error away from getting 3 points.

He does need to get it in his head that he's no longer managing Fulham though.

Have you seen what Sky did, the cheeky B*****DS.

This is the original banner in the Kop, top centre.

Sky, on their Liverpool v Arsenal coverage, changed it to this.

Bang out of order in my opinion, I'm just surprised they didn't edit Rafa out.

Manny, they've been known as 'Boring, boring' to me for many years. I'll take some convincing that they've moved on.
WOW being a Plymouth Argyle supporter you must really know all about being boring, boring :neener:

It must seem like a life time away since “The Sturrock Revolution” that saw the club go through its most successful period with two Division titles in three years.

Dream on Big Boy or maybe watch Arsenal for some flair and great football.

Is it true Delia Smith was second choice?

99.9% of negative managers agree would have gone with Bodgson(my name for the clown :neener: ), 100% of good attacking managers would have gone for a second and killed off the game 10 men or not.

A freak goal Mr Hit(who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler!!!) it was well earned and all teams get or sometimes do not get, a little help from lady luck.

Come on you Arsenal.

Barclays Premier League
Man City v Liverpool, 20:00

Now this will test them.

Bodgson will need to park 2 team buses in front of goal.
It will smack of Fulham tactics all over again.

Get a good supply of tissues BaaBaa,you will need them.Hee Hee.

Yes, my team were crap for the last 3 seasons, but I don't claim any other. At the start of most seasons, most Plymouth supporters hope for survival in the league they are in - anything else is a bonus. When we get that bonus, it is fantastic - support your home team, it's where you're from. They may be crap - can't deny that, but it's far from boring.

Arsenal gained their name for a style of play - not results. What's the point of winning every week if you're gaining that reputation? Premiership clubs not only have a duty to entertain their fans, but also have to entertain the worldwide television audience through which they get much of their funding. If they were a TV soap, they'd have been axed many years ago.

Incidentally, what are your origins? Do you come from North London, or in the vicinity of the club, or are you one of those plastic, glory hunting armchair supporters who like the name, or the colour of the shirt etc?

That boring, boring reputation was earned before Arsene Wenger arrived on the scene BB. Most pundits now think they are one of the most entertaining teams, their style of play always gives the opposition a chance to score. Unfortunately most teams shut up shop, which makes them extremely boring.

I know, and I don't disagree. However, deep in my own mind the damage has been done. If it's a choice of Arsenal or Eastenders, Eastenders would normally win ....... unless Arsenal were playing against a decent team.   :duck:

That's good news - you have the perfect excuse. :D

If you had checked your stats properly, the Green Army's away records in the last couple of seasons has equalled or bettered those teams that have been promoted to the promised land.

It is home form that is the problem, with 9 wins in a season during their recent stay in the Championship being their best achievement - the worst being 5 wins (twice). You may be right, but I wouldn't be surprised if the result gave the Green Army at least a D, and more probably a W.

I should have said that the Green Army are not worthy of being discussed on this Premier League thread. Please continue further ribbing here http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... 28&t=15732 - I love it. :D

Complete bollocks, keep it tight and try and take your chances on the break is how most managers would've played it. Maybe Wenger doesn't know how to play that way which is why your European record is so poor.

You seem to have made quite a judgement after 1 game in which we played with 10 men for 45 minutes.
