We talking Astro here? If not can someone let me know how many PL games were on Astro Saturday and if the sunday game/s are being shown as back in the UK at the moment.

It's a combination of Astro and some Truevisions channels. From memory there were 6 x 3pm kick-off games. 1 (Hammers) was not being shown on any channel I could find, 4 were on Astro (as was the 5.30 kick-off) and 1 was on a truevisions channel (can't remember which one, but it wasn't the usual sports channels 101+, which I can't get).

I'll be surprised if tonight's games are not being shown on Astro, but I don't know right now.

Had my new box installed a few weeks ago. Ok until the end of this month when I have to pay the next installment - Tru Vision quoted around 26k baht for twelve months Platinum (plus one month free) - on top of that extra 100 baht per month for additional channels ie BBC Entertainment channel.
By the way how many of you are sat with a spare satellite dish after the change over. Tru Vision tech (sic) brought a new dish when he came with the set top box - now sat in my store. Might take it back to the shop and ask for a refund..!!!

Are some games on the HD channels not viewable via Dream box/openbox?

I have heard the dreambox suppliers have a new package. 5500 for the box + 400 per month.

What package might that be
Klingon, True, Astro or what?

Klingon doesn't have any terrestrial channels.

I'm waiting for confirmation. I had the True Platinum package with them previously for 300 per month.

The 'engineer' is seeing if he can get enough numbers together to get a volume discount on the boxes, then he'll come back to me. Maybe if enough are interested on here I can provide a contact number and others can benefit but I don't know if this breaches any forum rules and should make it clear to skeptics and ne'er-do-wells, before they pounce, that I do it out of love for my fellow members and there is nothing in this for me.

pm me, if interested.

I'm confused. What are we supposed to be interested in? Is this "engineer" Khun T--? Surely if he, whoever he is, is looking to buy the boxes in bulk, he must know what channels they will provide? How can anyone commit themselves otherwise? Will the old boxes be redundant? Is there any guarantee that the code won't be changed again in 3 months or 6 months?

I own one of the old boxes and have been out of the country for a few months. From what I understand, from this thread, is that I will need a new box. Can I get one of the PVR boxes in Hua Hin or do I have to settle for a standard HD box? I want to purchase and not rent.
