Praise indeed!

Okay, I thought Citeh and Spurs looked miles better than either the Mancs or the Arse. I thought it the better game played at a higher standard.

But I thought City were the better team and at 2-0 should have gone on to win comfortably, then a mistake let Spurs back into the game and we know the rest. If City could have factored in their 3 missing regulars, then I think it would have been beyond Spurs. Thats nothing to be ashamed of.

Its only my view - it means nothing.

Out of curiosity, anyone know why Micah Richards isn't in Capellos plans? He's beginning to look the player he always threatened to be.

I think Wenger's lost his mojo :(

He has the rest of the season to save face imo.
He has to ditch the arrogance & stubborn streak or he will completely lose the backing of the fans, it's dwindling at an alarming rate. :|

First half today was pure garbage.
Things looked better in the 2nd half & were beginning to get on top, until that dumb substitution  , the reason apparently being fatigue
An 18 year old footballer suffering fatigue . . . FFS

I wouldn't say we were worth a point, but we had a chance to snatch one & as per usual, we blew it :banghead:

Spurs had absolutely no luck in the match against Citeh.Unlucky to be 2-0 down and when they clawed it back to 2-2 I thought they were the only team that could win it.
Conceding that penalty in the 5th minute of injury time was a choker for them, too. It was a penalty but debatable if Ballotelli should have still been on the pitch.
But Spurs looked the better team for much of the match, cracking second half.....certainties to qualify for the Champions League next season but I think their chance of winning the Premiership has gone.

Surprisingly Arsenal were very poor and subdued in the first half against United. After their 8-2 mauling at Old Trafford, earlier in the season,I thought they would be really up for this match but,no,they made it easy for Uniteds inexperienced defence in the first half.
They improved in the second half which was a lot more exciting to watch.Oxlade-Chamberlain was the man of the match, easily, and only Wenger knows why he took him off.....tired,injured or parents requesting he's home by 6pm !
Whatever, that decision cost Arsenal the match with the sub,Arshavin, allowing Valencia far too much space for him to set up Welbecks winner.
It will be difficult for Arsenal (and Liverpool) to qualify for next years Champions League now.Arsenal looked to have picked up,with the new signings, but have faded in recent weeks.
Liverpool seem to be really struggling without Suarez.Bellamy is their best forward but he can only manage one game a week,at present.......and two very important matches for Liverpool this week that could make or break their season.
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Long way to go. There will be plenty of twists and turns to come!

Harry Redknapp has just arrived at Southwark Crown Court. Milan Mandaric not here yet. Both face 2 charges of cheating public revenue. Your having a laugh!

Crunch time for spurs is February and the first game of March. I can't remember in what order we play these teams but here are the four in a row games....

Spurs - Newcastle
Spurs - United
Arsenal - Spurs
Chelsea - Spurs

Gonna be an interesting few weeks that's for sure.... It's a beautiful game!

But no action against Lescott, and that seemed a much more clear-cut incident to me. :?

I'm sorry Terry and everyone as I just don't see it. I just watched Premier League News on TSP 1 and they played the incident over and over at least 10 times. I see him in the air, then coming down onto a man who was already on the ground, then tripping away after almost getting tangled up with him. If someone has a YouTube that can pinpoint any infraction, please post it. Pete

I watched it on Match Of The Day and in real time it didn't look that bad, but in the slow motion replays, it does look like a deliberate stamp. I don't think you can blame the ref because even had he seen it (in real time), there would have been reasonable doubt as to whether it was deliberate or not.

Bellamy played tonight and scored. I imagine he'll play against MU on Saturday. Then we have Wednesday against the Wolves. He's too old for all of that. Perhaps Carroll will get a start Wednesday? Pete

Played well too :thumb:
I hope Walcott was watching & taking note of how to run the channels & keep involved in the game.

Over the 2 games LFC deserved it quite comfortably .

I have to say though, Dowd did his best to spoil it yet again!
He really is a poor ref, then again are there any decent ones in the PL at the moment? :?
Missed a pen for Man c & gave a very dubious one to LFC.

Quite enjoyed the half time banter with Mcmanaman, Fowler & Reid about some of his decisions & actions
Maybe a bit of karma from sunday?

Pleased with result, LFC desrved to win even though Man C had more possession. A tad lucky with the penalties given and not given though. Take note Nasri, you only have one more chance to win the trophies you left Arsenal for, but we are still in the mix for three (yes, very slim chances I know).
I will be Welsh for final day
