Some clinical finishing but woeful defending,particularily Gallas.
Di Matteo seems to have replaced the old guard of Terry,Lampard and Drogba with the minimum of fuss and with some excellent buys.
For the first 25 minutes Manchester United seemed to be back in their bad pedestrian ways.Rooneys first 5 touches were two shocking passes,caught in possession twice and an own goal !
But his equaliser steadied things down and United ended up comfortable winners.Surprised Stokes defence was breached so easily though.
Once again Uniteds defence was nervy.A good attack would have scored a hatful.Lets hope its not Chelsea next Sunday.
I thought Rafael and the ever willing Welbeck did well for United.I'm not a big fan of Anderson but he put some lovely long crossfield passes when he came on.I hope he can do that more often.
I'm not surprised by the Arsenal result because I had them down as my Banker on IKTS.....5 weeks of bonuses down the drain !
And Liverpool had a narrow win over fellow strugglers Reading to pull clear of the relegation area.Baa Baa will be growing in confidence and may soon be able to post on an equal footing as the rest of us !
