I'm just back from my daily trip to the lake, and it's so nice to see the tea pots back on tables. Very UKesq.

What really surprised me was the number of massage parlours still open.

No kamnan, puyaibaan, etc. blocking access to and from towns/villages.

Not practical really with each community having multiple entry/exit points.

I agree, not practical, so without the means to enforce it, why mention it? Surely, it's easier for them to say nothing. Similar to all of these provinces quarantining people from nasty areas - impossible to enforce, so why?

The information is there on the prachuab covid-19 Facebook page. Here's an example dated today. To translate images like this, one solution is to display it on a tablet or PC and use Google lens on your phone for translation. Also you can use Google translate on PDF files, though I don't think it works for images (could be wrong).

These updates are handy for those of us that don't use Farcebook - keep em coming.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

My daughter has just been showing me some videos taken at a Chang Mai field hospital. Almost all of them having picnics, working out etc etc. One guy posted being sent there after testing positive. He spent a night there with dozens of Covid 'healthy' people only to be told the next day that they'd made a mistake and called the wrong person.
No doubt he's positive now.

Dozens of people who are showing zero signs of symptoms but causing untold beds to be used. Control? I don't think so!

Can't post any of these vids as my daughter tells me you have to have a Tik Tok account. But there are loads of videos showing field hospitals full of 'fit' people. Beds unavailable, medical staff collapsing with exhaustion when there's really no need.

Funny, I checked it myself about an hour ago. :thumb:

Despite the Covid blob on the map, I guess visitors are either totally oblivious to the threat, or from out of area. It hasn't been as busy as I would have expected during the bank holiday, but a good splattering visitor throughout.
