It's getting more complicated.
Yes, the cluster bottom left is of concern. Are they saying 131 with no obvious source, or has my translation tool got it wrong again? (Bloody phones - maybe I should have bought a higher spec

)

For anybody thinking they may have contacted Covid, there is an online assessment you should complete before going to the hospital.

I must say, I completed the proforma, but like most Thai IT, nothing happened. Maybe I did something wrong.

It says other entertainment places in Hua Hin district.

Eventually. They've managed to grow a brain cell. In other countries, only those that are sick are hospitalised.
With over 9.000 people in hospital, most of them without symptoms or only mild symptoms, something had to be done.
Can Thais be trusted to isolate properly?

Can anybody - You read about Brits not isolating back in the UK, so I doubt that Thais will be any different?

Re the above, the word "Infected" is the key. Do they really mean that, or simply untested people who have been in contact with someone or in some place? We will find out eventually.....

Of course you're correct. It'll happen anywhere. However, you can't keep putting people in hospital when they don't need care. In order to treat the people who need it, swamping the medical workers with unnecessary 'patients' has to stop.

Thank you - I didn't actually put that particular diagramme into my translator, but previous diagrammes were coming up as unknown source. Other entertainment places could be another way of saying they don't know, but will blame entertainment anyway.

Reading between the lines of many reports, I think there is an element of home self-isolation going on already. Hua Hin have announced that quite a few will be sent home from hospital today, and those waiting for beds will be collected from their homes.
I've read similar stories from Bangkok also.

The only good thing about those numbers is that they don't seem to be increasing too tremendously over the last few days.
The earlier progression, especially from the 6th to the 12th was starting to look a bit worrisome.

Yes, and one would think that the number of tests being done has increased dramatically in the last 7 to 14 days.
And yet the numbers are basically stable as you say
Maybe a positive way to look at it??
