Happy New Year DM :thumb: Thanks for your good wishes :)

Is it Ermine? The painting looks like on the lines of the Mona Lisa, although it is not, we know that. Leonardo da Vinci painting?

Have you noticed how the ermine's eyes seem to follow you round the room...?

Yes, well done both - Lady with an Ermine, painted by da Vinci over 500 years ago!

Yes spooky isn't it

If you want to see it in the "flesh" so to speak, I just looked this up...

Due to the renovation of the Princes Czartoryski Musem in the years 2010 and 2011 the masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci, Lady with an Ermine, tours museums abroad. The picture is expected back in Krakow in February 2012 and there are plans to exhibit it temporarily in the branch of the National Museum in Krakow situated in the Bishop Ciolek Palace at 17 Kanonicza street. :)

Is the top one David Lloyd George?

The bottom one looks like a poet? Shelley?

But being as the 1st, if correct, is Welsh - I'm stumped for a link?

Infidelity?

I thought the first pic was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
