Sorry to hear that SG. I agree that sometimes, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

I imagine you did sign an agreement based on the correct terms khundon?
I wish I could get back the 1000 Bht the ATM stole from me here in HH!!
I can now see why people have to run to the borders ha, ha.

I can only steal it if I have access to it and it is easy for the bank to remove it from my account.

I can of course only keep the interest if the bank agree it was their mistake.
Been to the bank this morning, with my copy of signed agreement and DD form, both of which, were filled out by bank clerk (on commission) and it is plain that I asked for £1250 a month to be transferred into account and the clerk should have picked it up, as I was not aware of the monthly limit.
It seems that "as a valued customer" (managers words

I used a card in Kasikorn bank in HH in 2000 and no money (15000Baht) came out, on checking with Bangkok Head office they agreed I had not had the money but my bank in UK said I had and that Kasikorn was wrong.
I did not get that sorted until April 2004 when I got back to UK

It just shows how easy it is to lose money in the system and how difficult it is for the man in the street, to get it back.
Best of luck with your Grand.

Imagine if someone was just about to do their 800K show money in Thailand and some, or most of it disapeared into the ether for 6 months and the Thai bank insisted that the funds were not there.
Doesn't bear thinking about does it!

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
