Unfortunately for me, it is one of the movies that I had really wanted to see, but I'm going to the quiz at JW's tonight - here's hoping it is for more than just one night.

Now that I've established contact, I will try to push my specific views forward on a more personal note, in an attempt to get more recognition for the showing of Original soundtrack movies.

If anybody has anything that they would like me to pass on (politely :D ), please use this thread, and I will try to incorporate into my correspondence. Otherwise, there is an e-mail address included in the correspondence, feel free to use it to pass on your individual views yourself.

Hi BB,

I would imagine the program will be on for at least a week, so probably "don't panic!".

I do wonder, though, how easy it is for them to change language and subtitles. I don't know how many of the cinemas in the multiplex are digital, but it's at least two because I've seen 3D movies in two cinemas there. Digital movies are typically distributed on hard disk drives so I wonder if one hdd can carry multi-language support. If so, it would be easy for the multiplex to swap languages and perhaps show Reds 2 the following week in Thai, and Percy Jackson or Ripd in English. I went to see Pacific Rim the other week, which was only shown in English, which disappointed the Thai in front of me in the ticket queue. Multi-language hdds would allow the cinema to please everyone. It needn't even be a weekly language change - daily, session, or whatever period could be managed.

What do you think? Worth raising in your ongoing conversations with Major?

Cheers.

I've already gone back to the cinema, copied to 3 people at head office suggesting something very similar, and maybe a couple of Original Soundtrack viewings a week.

We went to watch Red 2 in original soundtrack last night. An action packed movie, which we enjoyed, but there were only 11 people in the cinema. Mind you, looking at the amount of people leaving from the other screens, the movies in Thai or dubbed in Thai weren't supported any better.

Another movie in original soundtrack

Immortals Mortal Instruments is showing in English at 11:00, 13:40, 16:20 and 21:40

I can't find out anything about a current movie of this name. The nearest match I can find is a 2011 movie of the same name. I'm going to Market Village later, so will try to find more information.

There is a 2013 movie, The Last Immortals, but this hasn't been released yet.

We went to the 21:40 showing of Mortal Instruments last night. This was the first time we've been to a 'late' movie, and it was the first time I'd seen the cinema busy. All screens were very active. In the original soundtrack movie that I went to, as far as I could see, I was just one of three Farangs, but there were plenty of Thais enjoying it.

The movie itself was total fantasy with demons, witches, warlocks, werewolves, vampires etc (but zombies aren't real  ). It was action from start to finish, with jusy a slight injection of sloppy love story.

Thoroughly enjoyed it :)
