Aparrently, Ronaldo to City is a done deal with the player having already agreed personal terms. Harry to City was also a 'done deal' though, so...

Can't imagine United fans will enjoy seeing their idol in City Blue.

There's a few reports over the Internet saying it's "Reportedly a Done Deal", but nothing has really been confirmed.

Example: - https://punditarena.com/football/james- ... -man-city/ or for a bit of fun  https://www.balls.ie/football/man-unite ... ity-481823

From what I've heard, he's been offered the usual ridiculous weekly wage in Wendyball, but Man C. either don't want to pay or are negotiating the transfer fee...... Sounds about right

And just like that, Man City are out of the race and Ronaldo looks like he may be joining United.

Confirmation! Ronaldo back in the Premier league!

So this summer, City had a chance of Kane, Messi and Ronaldo but came away with a £100 million Grealish.

Not a great day for Man City really. The only news coming from their camp is that one of their players is a rapist.

I thought he looked pretty washed out at the Euro's and Juventus, apart from getting him off their wage bill, made it known that they wanted him to run around a bit more, as per the way it is for modern strikers.

Interesting. I wonder what the younger players think? Will be harder for Greenwood and Sancho to make much of an impact.

It's either an inspired move or madness.

Or neither...

In some ways (assuming it goes through), it's similar to Bale's year on loan at Spurs. Former idol returns to huge acclaim, can he make a real difference? Probably not, but I think Bale did make a contribution, and a positive one, both on the pitch and off. Let's face it, Ronaldo isn't going to be the starting go to man in every game, or even in most games.

Of course, it's all about value for money at the end of the day, so we'll have to wait and see. One thing's for sure, if it happens, it will add another spark of interest to the season.
This is the way

One thing that’s for sure is that Ronaldo won’t be happy sitting on the bench, so unless he plays regularly he’ll throw his teddy out the pram, hence it would prove to be a very poor decision for everyone.

Reportedly on close to 500K a week, Man U either need him badly as a player, or as merchandise - or .......?

Whatever, once again, literally criminal money IMHO. :banghead:

Exactly, he'll pay for himself in shirt sales. The big question is, will he get his number 7 back?

Ready for another day of Premier League, lads? Couple of crackers on today: Plastics vs The Arse and Bin Dippers vs Chelski. The Arse surely need a win today. Or at the very least a draw. Looking at their team selection though, I can't see anything other than a City riot.

And, if so, I'll take absolutely no pleasure in seeing them start the season with 3 losses.
