Have the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) lost their marbles? We have a family friend who plays for Buriram. In a recent Champions League match, the Chinese team, Zhejiang's players and staff attacked Buriram's players and staff in football scenes I've only seen the likes of once before about 9 years ago, and I watch a lot of live football. In the attached video, you see our friend getting attacked, but not doing anything to defend himself. The rest of the Buriram team acted in a similar manner. The AFC have banned 3 Buriram players, including our friend for 6 matches. Apart from being in the wrong place at the wrong time (and wearing a Buriram shirt ) can anybody see what he does wrong?

I've just been talking to our friend's dad. This is what he said,
Yes they have appealed against decision but you know as well as I do, Nothing will change! 3 Chinese players and 2 staff pretty got the same banned as us. Leon’s teammate Ramil had 7 players on him alone…corrupted bastards

A weird VAR incident has just happened in the Chiang Rai vs Police game. The usual 'Checking Penalty' came up on the scoreboard, and the ref was called to the TV. Ref discounted the first free kick incident where the Chiang Rai player was deemed to have dived (I agreed). They then switched to a completely different (earlier) free kick incident, and the ref decided to award the penalty - TIT.
