I`m just hoping that my theory that Arsenal play well against sides who don`t park the bus. Maybe United`s defence will open up, just maybe.

Wow, very surprising stats.

I'm just judging from what I've seen and they always look vulnerable to me.

Very surprising indeed, and slightly inaccurate. Impressive nevertheless.

I agree to a point, but then again we still haven't played our 1st choice back 5 yet this season, nor our 1st choice starting 11 come to that :|

Funny old game for me - I love to watch Arsenal get walloped but I don't get any pleasure from seeing Man U win... :?

I wasn't impressed by Podolski and Giroud - presumably they're usually better than that?
The keeper looks handy, and he needed to be.

There were 15 minutes after half time when it looked as though there might be a contest, but as soon as that 2nd goal went in it was all over.

Rooney looked a class act today and van Persie was excellent. A bit embarrassing that the Arsenal fans decided to spend most of the game booing the best player on the pitch.

Is it just me or is Carrick one of the most ordinary players around?

Another ref might have sent off Cleverley and van Persie as well as Wilshire. Another manager might have taken Wilshire off before he got his inevitable second yellow.

Could have been 5-0.

Neither Giroud or Podolski have impressed me, particularly the Frenchman.

I thought the Arsenal fans were great, still singing at the end, away support is so much better for most teams, especially Arsenal, Liverpool and United. No shame in booing Van Persie, same as we used to boo Torres before it dawned on us he's now terrible, the pair of ****s.

What were you saying about fans DM?

Spuds just got booed off at halftime. Pathetic!

Lots of empty seats towards the end of the match at OT, presumably the home fans have a long way to travel  And they missed the best goal of the game.
I turned over to a French channel at half time, Alan Smith really gets on my t**s, always pointing out an Arsenal poor pass but ignoring the MU ones. Can`t complain about the result though.

I'm more concerned about the team's performance than the supporters'. We looked almost as bad as Arsenal. :banghead:
As for the manager, I'm beginning to think that AVB may be not only not up to the job but positively certifiable.

Well played Wigan. :banghead:

Note to self: watch more rugby.
