Very dependable defender with a no nonsense approach.
Certainly not a dirty player in my book either. :|

To me both Carragher and Parker epitomise what used to be good about the English game - both truly committed players who normally leave the pitch looking absolutely shattered having given their all. I just don't see that same commitment by too many other players these days.

Considering you'd firstly think of showboating Brazilians I think the South American lads always put a shift in, Mascherano, Lucas and Suarez recently for us. Tevez and Aguero. Messi.

Tough little bastards who just want to win.

I have nothing against Chelsea as a club, but I really do wish Abramovich all the bad luck in the world. The way the treats managers, nobody in their right mind should consider replacing Di Matteo, but I guess money will talk!!

I hear HR is currently talking to RA about the manager position, apparently RA bought all Harry's targets after the jammy CL win. Di Matteo off to help is old pal AVB.

Chelsea fans despise Benitez judging by what I've seen today but he's a brilliant Manager.

Might even get Torres firing.

Hope he doesn't get it though, he doesn't get on with interfering boards and would inevitably get sacked.

6 months ago Di Matteo was a hero for winning the Champions League and Chelsea looked a cut above the rest of the Premiership for the first two months of this season.
Surely he's allowed a poor run of results without getting the sack ?
Good job Abramovich didnt take over from Hicks and Gillett at Liverpool or youd now be on your 8th new manager since Rafa !! :D

It is predicted that by 2025 you'll never be more than six feet away from an ex-Chelsea manager.

Only till the end of the season. He needs to win the fans around and me, but hope he does well.

Then the special one for next year, he's leaving Real at the end of the season.

Still in shock from RDM going, but things had gone awry and without any real feeling it could be turned around. Shame.

He's a top coach Caller, you've already got the flair, he'll get you organised.

The press didn't half do a top hatchet job on Rafa.

As you say, the fans could be a problem, I've heard they're planning anti Benitez chants. Idiots.

Be perfect if Jose left Real and Rafa got that job, him being a Madrid lad. I hope you win the league as it's only the mancs otherwise and Benitez could give a big F you to the English media.
