Yesterday, 5,000 construction workers were cut loose and the understanding is that they are not in a good mood.
Reported that last evening two separate incidents of Thai women entering their cars at a shopping center parking lot, when a man jumped into the passenger seat before she could lock the door and she was robbed at knife point. Two separate men as well as reported by the women and two separate shopping centers. Police here say this is a first for a crime of this nature and technique in these parts.
Time to beef up security and awareness until these people get their jobs back, or go home to Issan.
