Yes,
Well done to everybody this week. Best week we have had collectively I think with the bottom three players all getting superb results and Heebio, Raphael Benitez and Mil_Dos steaming up the table like express trains.
I screwd up yester day as well I put Middlesborough 0 Newcastle 1 instead of the revers. That mistake cost me 40 points.
Many people have asked my about the Banker Bonus which I think has changed slightly from last year. Anyway here it is:
Banker Bonus - Is calculated based on the number of consecutive times you have correctly played your Banker. Each time (up to a maximum of four) that you correctly predict the outcome of a game (home win, away win, draw) you increase your Banker Bonus for the following week by 10. So if you have correctly played your Banker 3 weeks running, 20 points will be added to your weekly score.
This is a useful tool and best put your banker on the most likely home win no matter who you support and where your heart lies. It has been keeping Wanderlust alive for weeks. Without it he would be off the bottom of the table (bit like his team I suppose).

Banker bonus was always like that, wasn't it? Look at Caller who, I think, hasn't predicted incorrectly on that so far this season. The extra points are rather valuable as I found out last season. It was tight at the top until about a month from the end when virtually everyone lost their bonuses, except me and that made the difference.Guess wrote:Yes,

This season, as I've said, I can't predict my way out of a paper bag

You're sounding like a Hamster. Have confidence. Both teams had a bad start and there is still only six point between them. I reckon the top six will be Chelsea, Arsenal, Manu, Spurs, Liverpool and Bolton but not necessarily in that order.JimmyGreaves wrote:

That's a bit premature, West Ham are still well up from the bottom in 19th place. It has been keeping Wanderlust alive for weeks. Without it he would be off the bottom of the table (bit like his team I suppose).

Ouch, the chelskea mafia has done it again. Just down from the memory line back in Vyborg (an old Finnish city): Me: can I have my bill, please. The waiter: certainly Sir, here it is 50 Euros. Me: What!!! for two beers, that can't be possible. The waiter: That's what the bill says, sir, so it's possible. me: I don't like the look at the gorillas here, so here's your 50 E.
The lesson of this story
1. I'll be back
2. Never trust the ruskies
3. I agree with JG the performance yesterday was the best I've seen in the PL this season.

Just one follow up on Arsenal. As a purely unbiased Reading supporter who was at yesterday's game, I hope I never see another team play like that until it is us. Arsenal were awesome; if they could play like that every week they would walk the league. Whereas walking was what they did with the ball into our net at frequent intervals. Total respect to the best footballing team I've seen or am ever likely to see.

Absolutely, not much help from me though, at my lowest point at the mo, 10th, averaging 50 - 60 points a week.
Well done Caller, 23 in the world overall, (where is that handclap emoticon Admin), well done all, on the Thailand league table I think we have three on page one.

And I think your wait will continue. I have carried 70 points across from yeaterday and now have the prospect of the cruising Aston Villa and 95% relaibilty of Cheslea especially against their most despised enemies.JimmyGreaves wrote:

I am confident of those two results but West Ham v Aresnal, Pheeweee. The Arses have let me down so many times I have lost count bit on the other hand they look good and West Ham a crap and already planning their promotion back up ti the premiership in 2010. So I will just have to stick a finger in the air I think.
Bamboo Grove, what do you think??? I will go with your superb judgement I think.
