Otherwise, Ferrari came back well, Aston Martin were poor, but Crickey - how well did Mercedes do!!

. .
Next up, Silverstone - THE RACE!!

I missed your comment DM - sorry... And yes, the guy is a Tosser (as is Homer) - but the FIA Rules and Regulations need looking at. Compare Crashappen to Piastri's Grid Penalty recently https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... 6Twb7Dv5lI - (Video at Link), or his "Deleted Lap" in Qualifying for the Austrian GP ultimately demoting him from the front of the Grid to P7. His demotion was down to exceeding "Track Limits" - incredibly difficult on that particular Track and quite frankly ludicrous in comparison as to what was handed out to the "Dire Dutchman".dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:46 pm A race well worth watching for once, certainly the 2nd half. Norris gave it everything, then Verstappen reverted to type and took him out. The 10 sec penalty made no difference to Verstappen at all. Tosser.
No question over Crashappen's ability, just his attitude (and a fair bit of favoritism/bias shown by the FIA especially for his first Championship win) - influenced by "Senior Happen"" and "Homer". Red Bull have had a "Rocket Ship" for the past few years but others are catching up - including Mercedes.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 10:19 pm A couple of years ago you could have put money on LH coming out at the front of the pack but alas these days it’s far less certain- still![]()
Haas have not done that badly and are moving in the right direction - P6 and P8 in Austria, though that was not exactly "the norm". Bearman is replacing Nico Hülkenberg who's moving to Sauber, although the second seat at Haas is still not confirmed.
It's the UK in July PeteC!! Wimbledon. The GP - what can you expect... RAIN!!
