It never fails to captivate me to see how bright the center of a lotus flower is in strong morning sun. Post processing was minimal. Made the shadows a bit darker, raised the highlights a bit, passed it through an unsharp mask. I don't like manipulation that produces colors or shadows not seen in nature. I just compared the posted photo to the original and they're pretty close.

Buksida,

That is some clear water and looks shallow and calm enough to teach the missus snorkeling safely. Where were those last shots taken?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It looks beautiful, I would love to go there. I just read this....
"Because the Bay was deserted, we went to Koh Talu. Normally, this beautiful island is a classic "Tourism Gone Wrong" zoo with noisy crowds throwing rubbish everywhere. Each trip is different and Koh Talu without the crowds was just stunning."
Did you find it like this?

That's a different island Siani, they're talking about Koh Tapu in Phanga, the shots above were taken at Koh Talu in Bangsaphan.

I am a little confused (as always!) :? The link says ...Location: Koh Talu, Phang Nga Bay, Thailand
Not Koh Tapu??

Well, um maybe he's wrong? There maybe another Koh Talu, but the main island that attracts the tourists in Phanga Bay is Koh Tapu aka James Bond Island (Tapu meaning nail in Thai, as the rock formation resembles one). The photos I took above are definitely not of this place.
