I agree, I've read a number of very encouraging articles about the Novavax vaccine.
It seems to combine the efficacy rates of the best mRNA vaccines with the ease of storage and distribution of the viral vector or inactivated virus vaccines, while maintaining a good rate of efficacy against the new variants.
It's also a more traditional type of vaccine technology (protein subunit) which might allay the fears of some over the less familiar newer types.
All in all I think you're right, it could turn out to be the best of the Covid vaccines yet.

I went toHH hospital today for my first jab and was tld they have no vaccines available. y number is 10,123 and they are ony up to 5,000+ they gould give no date when I must return and directed me to the hospital web site and FarceBook, both are only in Thai and neither have a schedule for revised dates. I used the messenger service t ask for information which came back in Thai they eventually stopped responding as they have no idea how to address the issue.
Thank Buddha Thailand is not going to war or they would go and then realise no one had bought the ammunition.

The answer to that is simple. The government has to purchase the vaccines and will only start negotiations when the hospitals pay 100% upfront and the government has said they will only order once, so it means all private hospitals must have paid the 100% upfront before anything will happen. So in effect it may never happen.
In the mean time Thailand are exporting AZ to other countries instead of vaccinating here.

Good information joelle, now just 1,810 to go
Something I've just noticed on the above link. My laptop is set to auto-translate, but I've heard many talk about the Thai text. I don't know how long it's been there, but there is now a button on the page allowing you to switch to English.
I see it has the option to switch to English, however when entering my number (which is still requested in Thai) it states I have not registered, which I have and HH hospital even agree I have registered.

If I spend my time following all these threads I will be starting my own isolation as I will never be able to go out. It is far easier to pop into the hospital to ask the facts.

Yes but you said above that you went to the hospital and they were unable to help you, so how is that easier?

In fairness, if they told him his number was 10,123, that is just as helpful as the check using the link. Nobody is any wiser than that at the moment. Difference is the check on the link takes 28 seconds (sad git that I am, I just timed myself).

He said he went to HHH!!! - There were many vaccines scheduled for today having been rescheduled about 3 times, so it will be key to hearing what happened to them today
I will refrain from using capitals as you did in another thread. How many times do we need to be told about unverified gossip and rumour on a very important thread, it just causes more confusion in an already over informed confusing threads. As it stands from the poster after you HHH was very busy today with people getting vaccinated!!! I'm sure that if HHH have run out of vaccines there will be a post on their FB page.
Thank you.
It seems PET information was correct, which I had also been told because I have not seen any further vaccine appointments for tomorrow, and the late ask for those who should have had today to come tomorrow for maybe up to 200 jabs is about it for the time being. Where is the post on FB?
Given that both of you believed rumour and speculation wouldn't it be better to refer to verifiable facts. the above post from Joelle as an example
