And that helps me to solve the connection - not !
Or is Jeux Sans Frontiers the connection?

Charles de Gaulle kicked off the Common Market, It's A Knockout (aka Jeux Sans Frontieres) was (probably) the first Europe-wide tv gameshow. Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel... hmmm...

Gabriel and Bush recorded a duet called "Don't Give Up" - an irrelevant coincidence?

EDIT: Nope: "Over the years, Gabriel has collaborated with singer Kate Bush several times; Bush provided backing vocals for Gabriel's "Games Without Frontiers" and "No Self Control" in 1980" from Wiki
