I enjoy it and usually try to toss in one entry. It is mainly the same posters. Anyone who reads it and doesn't post out there?

I think there’s still life in it - I haven’t won for a few months but when I do, I find it more and more difficult to get a good photo that will bring out a good response - an amusing photo still brings out a lot of captions!!

Re: Caption Competition
I agree 100% with DB. In many instances, the photo tries too hard to be funny, something which is quite unnecessary. There have also been far too many Boris and Royal Family pics (all IMO of course!). The best photos for the best captions can be very simple and ordinary. I still have a good look every week, but I'm simply not always inspired.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 2:09 pm I think there’s still life in it - I haven’t won for a few months but when I do, I find it more and more difficult to get a good photo that will bring out a good response - an amusing photo still brings out a lot of captions!!
Without wanting to blow my own trumpet of course, because as you all know I'm Mr Modesty, I'm convinced that if I won every week, as we all know I really should, the photos would be ideal for an excellent competition. So it appears that the judges are the real problem...
