Sandman - thanks for the price info. Can you PM me as well please with your good ladies bar location?
So is JWs now a gastro pub? (Heaven forbid!)
And on a serious note - which Princess' funeral? Not seen any reports here.

Mags

I read in the Bangkok Post that the construction crews were setting up the area for the funeral of the Kings sister (Princess?) that died just after the new year, and that the funeral was scheduled for Nov 14 & 15 with the cremation on the 16th....it was one of their online photo feature bits....

PMd you Mrs S's bar

hows the Bank Holiday Hell back there in Blighty?

I'm from the East Coast of the States with many years in the cold northeast.

I actually do miss those good old testament thunder storms they had.

Happy not to have them for days on end though!!

hee hee hee

heres the HH weather report for the bank holiday

Well hi folks...today it is damn hot and sunny, with occasional clouds giving some shade from time to time.

As usual there is a lovely cooling breeze blowing, sometimes from the hills, sometimes from the beach.

There seems to be a few grey clouds about, and maybe later we will have a spot of rain. Great for the garden, and cools things down nicely.

This evening will be warm and balmy, with a cool front coming in just about bedtime.

Tomorrows forecast.... same same.

Not that Im gloating

Look on the bright side BB, it’s not even a bank holiday here; I’m at work in the rain.

Gooooooooooood Morning Huaaa Hin!

Its another lovely day in The Kingdom. The sun is shining, the breeze is cool, and down in town things are sleepy as usual. However, for some exciting news lets go to Goomer who is up in Bang Kok... Goomer! You hear me mate?

Yes Sandy, I can hear you.

So whats happening up there in the Big Mango matey?

Well Sandy theres a lot of very angry little brown guys waving sticks...they seem to have invaded the NBT TV station and closed it down...

So....no real news there then?

Nope Sandy....as we all know nobody watches NBT anyway.....

True Goomer....True..... So its riots in the capital?

Well Sandy thats hard to say.....by Thai standards thats a yes, but by LA standards this is more like a sunday afternoon stroll in the park....

Great stuff Goomer....you keep your head down y'hear?

That'll be hard Sandy...these guys are all 5 feet tall...

Thanks for that Goomer......Now heres The Clash back to back..... I fought The Law and White Riot ..... going out to our good friend and toad impersonator Sammy Samak up there in BKK.....Feeeeeel the hot power!
