Sorry BaaBaa I hadn't heard about the Market Village Boots. Not before time either! It's a female thing I think. We can live without BurgerKing, Starbucks and Toys R Us, but without Boots we are lost!
Yeah and little'un really is cute. But IMO Thai kids tend to be much more cute than farang ones anyway. Maybe its the skin tone. Farang rug rats always look kind of flabby and blotchy IMO! :duck:

Yes, and a Watsons next to Boots that tends to be cheaper for a lot of things.
No Toys r’ us though, but upstairs in Market Village there is a quite large toy shop in the middle where I’ve bought presents for my partners son.
They have everything from small plastic toys to remote control helicopters.

Apparently so, I’m back next weekend for a few weeks so I’ll have a look for you, I need to buy a kid’s birthday present myself.

There is a Boots and a Watsons in town near the clock tower and another branch of each in Market Village, the Boots in Market Village is much larger than the one in town.

Toys R Us is most definitely opening in Market Village on the new 3rd floor, saw the shop facia when we were there last week, do not know the opening date, things seem to be progressing fast though

When it opens get ready for sticker shock. Much of the stuff is quite expensive if they price like Pattaya. However, you're getting good quality concerning the major toy items and items identical to what is sold at their stores in the West. Pete
