The automatic pool vacuum cleaners or 'robots' were invented and patented in South Africa. Kreepy Krauly, Baracuda and Zodiac are some of the brand names used and they are also widely sold in USA and Australia.
They do work well enough when correctly installed but may need some lead weights on the hose as well as the correct type and length of hose attached to the pool inlet to ensure all the pool surfaces eventually get cleaned as it moves randomly over the surfaces.
Some users report that it puts extra loading on the pump which needs to be of sufficient capacity to make the cleaner work effectively.

its cheaper to buy in home country and have someone send to you.
I has a pool service in Calif for 15 years and they are the rage. And no, uneven pool bottoms or gradients make no difference if properly set up.
But then as most home owners do, they just set this up and let the water chemistry go to shit! Pour in a gallon of chlorine and think they are good to go!

Most Thai pool services are terrible.

Aqua Solutions
HuaHin
So Cal guy into a lot!

diy boys its the only way to make sure your system works now we have learned the hard way form un trained pool cleaners with no english can say water very cleeeeeeean and a big smile throw in copious amonts of chemicals into your pool and think ther doing a wonderfull job its easy learning how to strip your pool pump down to the last little bit
but when it comes to a chlorinator can strip it down to the last too
but where can you get the plates re irodium plated in thailand this is the question cause i aint paying 19 thousand bath for a new one when all you require is the plates to be plated!!!!!!!!!!!
or just run it as a chlorine pool forget the chlorinator
Once you go Asian you will never go Caucasian !!

If you pool is maintained properly, the cells should last more than 5 years

And no, no one in their right mind "re-plates" the cells

But most people just want the cheapest service, same everywhere! You eventually pay down the road someplace, either in constant re-grouting or something.

Human nature!
So Cal guy into a lot!
