Hats off gentlemen...!!!Look on the bright side, if this is one of our annoyances, we have a pretty worry free life here
well done bro....thats two HHAD hats off in one day!

That will make the traffic worse IMHO as the Thais do a U-turn anywhere they like and usually have to sit for a while to get a break in the traffic, this jams up the traffic more than making it one lane that most people are familiar with.caller wrote:The last 2/3 times I've been there, I've found the traffic worse than the parking. Not ideal when on your hols...
When there in April, they had reduced Petchkasem to one lane heading south by MV so cars could do a U-turn without cutting across the lanes heading north - perverse. Just shut the U-turns and make the traffic go to the flyover.
Sure thing super, or if you don't care to parallel park in a parking space, you can just leave your car blocking a lane while you run into a store, that is if you are only going to be there for 15 minutes or so.Super Joe wrote:Holiday periods apart, the traffic and parking in Hua Hin is a breeze. Outside of centre I can park outside bar or restaurant I'm going to.
In centre of town there's one massive car park about 150m from Hilton Road, closes at 10 or 10:30pm, if that's too early there's another massive parking area about 200m from above.
That's apart from all the side roads, City Beach hotel has always, every single time, had a space available for 20B to the security man.
Park in the Hilton for free if a trip to reception isn't too much agg.
