Excellent advice and I thank you all. Several things I had not even considered there and I may actually venture out of the Homepro nest and try another merchant. TOA
We thought of tiles, of course, but discarded the idea. The front part of the garage has drainage "blocks" and we didnt think that tiles would go well with that.
Of course I would expect some wear and tear with time.. . but I dont want that to happen within a month.
I have already painted a skirting . .. used rustoleum type enamel which is excellent and I have found holds up very well here. (I go through masking tape by the roll.)
I have a sealer which I had planned to use first.
A quick read of the Epoxy process discourages me from going that route!
Probably a terrific result. . but I have never done it and it sounds scary.As well, the acid process seems complicated. I will investigate that further.
So let me work on the best paint job I can do . .follow the TOA road and see where it leads.
I will keep you all posted and promise a picture when it is done.
