Think Thursday is their normal day off so if no customers, they shut for the day or at least part of it.

Good luck.

Think they have 3 nights for 2 promotion on just now, but best check.

You'll find your answers here:

Walk north up the beach from Why Not about 500 meters and you'll see Montri's. The place outside the Coral is Clive's cocktail bar.

Train is probably the best way as it takes you into the town whereas the bus drops you on the highway, you'll need to check the times in HH train station as the info below is relative to Bangkok.

Went to Ban Krut and Bang Saphan with the gf a couple of weeks ago for a mini-break and stayed at Bang Saphan Guest House for one night after studying all the options.

We came back convinced that we had made the right choice.

We booked by phone on the way there and got a friendly welcome when we arrived.

Looked at the rooms - great value for money and the whole place spotlessly clean.

The fact that they also served decent chilled red wine at a price way cheaper than you'll find it anywhere in Hua Hin then really clinched it for me.

They helped us book our snorkeling tour for the next day and provided us with all the info we needed.

We pre-booked breakfast for the next morning at 9 o'clock because we had to leave by 9.30 to get the boat to Ko Talu.

Had a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed, with aircon and ceiling fan in the room (wish more places would think of that).

Arrived downstairs the next morning at 8.55 for breakfast and there was absolutely nobody there.

Just as we were wondering what to do, the shutter went up at exactly 9 a.m. and Martin, the owner, came in - cursing under his breath.

Apparently, the staff had phoned 10 minutes earlier and said she was having the day off, just like that.

Anyway, Martin got himself into the kitchen, made our breakfasts on his own, including freshly brewed coffee, and everything was on the table by 9.15 - and a great breakfast it was (though he couldn't get over my Thai gf ordering beans on toast with mushrooms!!).

So we were able to leave by 9.30 and get our boat - fantastic service!!

We really enjoyed our stay and I give Bang Saphan Guest House 10 out of 10 for prices, service, cleanliness, helpfulness and conviviality.

We will definitely be back :D

We have stayed a couple of times once with my whole family (12 people in 4 rooms) It's well worth a visit. Didn't see any mention of the fantastic English Breakfast, great start to the day! Will be going again too!
