who actually like cold weather. But hey, you can't have everything in life.
Hey, so there's two of us here... you're welcome to come over for a cold beer and some air con some time! Everyone else here seems to like hell on earth (weather wise)! :thumb:
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Living in southern California I, too, miss the fall and winter seasons. It's nice to have a change.

I'm glad I'm not having to get up at 4 to shovel snow though!!

Yep I do miss the cold crisp frosty mornings in the UK but having just returned from a trip there after several years my body cannot adjust. Maybe its because Im now 64 and totally acclimatised to the tropics.
Richard,

I do fear I'm romantisisng the cold a bit, it's been 5 years plus since I've been in Canada and I fear I too have gotten soft. I come from Nova Scotia on the Atlantic coast..nice long autumns, months of crisp blue skies and a warm sweater!

HHfarang..I do loves me some sweet cool aircon, but oddly enough I've worked the last seven years here in non-air schools. I had a choice but figured I had better jump into the deep end and acclimate myself, and I like the school. I do love to go to bed early with a good book and crank the air. As long as the beer's cold I can hang outside.

As for the snow shovelling...I didn't much like it a 4 or 5 AM, but I just finished an hour on the treadmill here and snow-shovelling is better than that. At least you can see that you are accomplishing something...
