I better not bring the in-laws as their technique for fishing a pond involves a large diesel pump!

Me either, as the method they use involves a stick of dynamite... :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I've heard of another technique that uses a a car battery, but I would like to see it done before I'd fully believe it.

Yes, I'm going to ask for a demonstration.
Certainly 12V DC wouldn't do anything, but I think they use it through a cattle fence inverter/transformer.

So........

I have already banned the use of barbed hooks and multi hooks.

Does this mean I have to ammend the rules to also exclude diesel pumps, dynamite and batteries??????!!!!!!!!!!

Steve - there will be no demos - at least not at HHFL

I would definately ban diesel pumps as I've seen that method done several times and it's very effective due to the fact that fish are not very good at walking!

We'll run the poll until the 18th then set the date, it looks like there is nothing between the two so we'll probably go for our original date of the 12th.

I heard rumors Terry that they're planning a cabinet meeting at a remote fishing lodge in the HH area on the 19th. Did you get a call yet? :D Pete

Pete

Right now I'm still stuck in smelly Delhi - but I'll be back at the lodge over this weekend. 8) and I've had no phone call here.

Mrs.T has not informed me of any such arrangement as such, but you never know. This could explain why she has suddenly become enthusiastic about my plans to build more accommodation at the lodge.

Maybe she is more politically 'connected' than I previously thought.
