This guy is no tourist. He owns businesses here, besides his international musical career. Wouldn't be the first time a rich/famous guy has been set up. We'll have to wait and see and if it is some kind of scam, I wonder if the papers will report on it so enthusiastically? Pete
Would the bank accounts there be frozen if he didn't return.. or/and convicted? Companies closed down?

I guess that could be threatened, but he also could have paid some huge bail he didn't want to forfeit. Not really many details coming out. Pete

Fairly accurate Spitfire... Oh bugger....

Have just returned to this post....... not actually remembering I'd visited previously!!
No worries Pharvey, me too.

I have no idea about any of it apart from saying something about changing my signature quotes, which was something to do with Pete, I think.

I have no idea what I said to Lomuamart (sorry Mr L), still trying to work it out now, sounded good at the time, but he's probably right, as usual.

Afraid it was a case of...................

I should know better.

Is the immigration bureau’s decision to cancel Russian conductor Mikhail Pletnev’s visa a bad decision? He now faces deportation even if child rape charges against him are dropped. Click on ‘see result’ for story.

Can you believe it 66% of the respondents said it was a BAD idea to cancel his visa. What does that say about them?

So why are they talking about dropping the charges??
