Immigration Hua Hin
Re: Immigration Hua Hin
The Tourist visa is still free, as far as I know, up until the end of March. I notice that you appear to be in Perth, and the Consulate has now closed there. So you would have to send to Canberra by post, may be worth a phone call to find out how long it takes. Not a good idea to send your Mother and little one without a visa.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

Will just go that option, safer in my opinion.

TOURIST VISA FEE EXEMPTION
Tourist visas issued between 11 May 2010 and 31 March 2011 will be issued without payment of the fee of £28 per entry. Other charges including £10 for issuing in person and £8 postage still apply. Fees for non-immigrant visas and transit visas still apply.
Re: Immigration Hua Hin
Marky Mark,
I believe it is still free.
Only cost should be the reply paid registered envelope that you send with your applications and passports.
One envelope for multiple applications if to the same address.
It took about 10 days when wife and daughter did theirs early December.

You only live once.
Re: Immigration Hua Hin
You didn't say when you're arriving here. Visas have an expiration date, by which they must be used or become invalid. For example, A 60 day visa issued on March 1 might expire on May 31 (I don't know what the actual expiration date would be). If you enter the kingdom anytime between those two dates you'll be permitted to stay 60 days. As others pointed out, tourist visas are free now, just make sure it's expiration date fits your plans.
