Hello from the guys and girls down at QUADMASTER!

We are very pleased to announce we have now taken delivery of the new models of SPYDER 250cc and the 'awesome' new 350cc.
For a small extra charge, we can fit your machine with a numbered red plate for use on the road in the Prajuab Kirikhan province only. If you prefer to use for off road racing only, then you can always resort to the old Pranburi Airfield and blast around the runway to your heart's content.

Also, the new range of EXCLUSIVE EGL ATV's has arrived. QUADMASTER is the only place in Thailand you can buy this range of machines. Words cannot describe them, so you need to go to the showroom and see the quality for yourself.
These are not your usual China ATV's!

We also now have in stock a range of Beach Buggies both for kids and for adults.
Why why not take a look an see if we have something for you!

Come on down for a coffee and a chat. We think you will be impressed.

Please explain more about the red plate. And how to get the quad bike to Pranburi airfield without using the road.

If QUADMASTER was to sponsor a 'test" drive day with some of their machines, how many people would be interested to come along?

As another contributor has already advised Thailand does not currently recognise ATV as a type of vehicle. Almost everyone else in the world does. I have hard it is under review but do not know when this might change to a point where you could register an ATV like you would a new car or a new motorbike. The machines most dealers offer are road prepared ie have horns turning signals brake ligts revers lights and headlight which meets on road requrements ( its a good idea to buy a machine which has actually been approved for road legal use in Europe or the US)
The RED plate is er, a local solution effective within this province only. I have driven on the road with the red plate and been passed by the local constabulary on more than one occaision and have yet to have a problem (why does that feel like tempting fate?)
I know a few folks in this area riding around with these local alternatives to a full on legal plate and to my knowledge there have been no incidents.
The local authorities say so long as you obey the traffic laws and wear a helmet you should be OK. Is that a guarantee? No probably not.
Very little in life is guaranteed.

The way to get your racing quad to the airport without going on the road is to buy a trailer for your machine - QM are th dstributor for UPBeat trailers.

Will Quadmaster guarantee that the machine will not be confiscated as an illegal vehicle or subject to police extorting tea money from the riders with the red plate and as they cannot be officially registered then it stands to reason they cannot be insured ?
What happens in the event you have an accident ?
Still no mention of any pricing either ?
Have they got a rear differential or are they fixed ?
2 X 4 or 4 X 4 ? Front wheel drive, rear wheel drive ?
Nice looking but not something I would want to be blasting about Thai roads on.
I never forget a face but in your case I'll make an exception!

[EDITORIAL]
Most of us only ever see ATV’s when they are offered for rent on beaches and road sides next to resorts. There is another level to the ATV experience. A path ‘less ridden’ perhaps. The chance to own your own ATV and ride whenever the mood suits you.

I have a good friend who lives amongst the pineapple plantations around Pranburi and owns several of his own ATVs. He can regularly be seen riding along off road tracks, river paths, abandoned airports, beaches and open spaces around the area. Frequent visitors to his house are often treated to a guided ATV tour of the points of interest in the area. After one visit and several rides I found myself well and truly ‘hooked’.

In less time than it takes to say; “all terrain vehicle” I had three ATVs in my car port! Since then I and my two teenage sons have enjoyed many an hour cruising around the little known byways and unspoilt countryside near our home. Its a great family experience and a chance to see places you would never get to in your car. As more of our friends become owners we are hoping to start a club where we can arrange regular meetings with BBQ’s and organised route tours.

HuaHin has its very own ATV dealer in QUADMASTER their showroom is just north of Pranburi on the Petchkasem road. Why not stop by and see if they have a machine or two to suit you. Or you can always visit http://www.huahinmedia.com/quadmaster.php
