I do not arrive until the 27th, all being well the bar scene will be back to normal, if not then everything has to be brought forward 2 hours.

Maybe for bar owners if you can 'get through' to the girls, come in 2 hours early, finish 2 hours early then everyone will not lose out.

ive been coming here for 6 years,my patience is wearing thin,what with the prices rising,the pound down maybe its time to look further afield. even tnt bar now want 80 bht for sam/coke.hes havin a laugh,but the tourist will have the last laugh when were in cambodia.and what about the girls in hh,rough or what,the jungle must be empty.

There isn't a peep in any of the Pattaya newspapers over the past days that I can find about early closing. What is on the internet are the new closing times of 0330 and 0430 for some, with the anticipation that it will go to a 24 hour town in the future. Pete

All bar the actual Hilton nightclub a friend said, Karaoke strip also closed.

As far as I know the Hilton's club is unaffected...just same as the last time the bars got a 12.00 sanction... we all know who pulls the strings in HH..& it starts with the big hotels..nuff said..grrrr!

There is a lot of solutions to have a drink with friends :

- At your house
- On the beach
- Somewhere else
- On the street with chairs
- On the pier

In fact you can drink anywhere, i even know people who drink on their boat all night while fishing.

Well, if you want to drink it's not a problem, if you want to find girls while drinking it's not the same story of course.
