Yup, get the priorities right! Don't worry about farang or even Thai deaths, lets just keep those dollars rolling in!
Any chance of serving Panadda's head on a platter - stuffed!
Suppose what is needed now is some past guests of the suspect rooms to provide evidence of some sort of bug problems existed in those rooms, should not be too hard tracking all guests down unless records have been "lost".But if this scenario is to be followed up as a probable cause what is the health of the hotel's staff like, especially those that under took the treatment of and daily servicing of the said rooms. One would expect that if such a toxic treatment was used surely they should be showing signs of having handled it??
Deepee - how about the bugger/s alleged to have sprayed it. I can guarantee if no mask and no gloves ( a theme I have seen 1st hand many times with termite spraying) the person/s would be rather unwell not to mention the rash!
If that is the best the WHO can do - God help the world.
Exactly Charlesh, if such treatment took place you can bet your bottom dollar it would not have been management doing it. Probably some poor youngster who had not a clue about what was going on.
Last year we were at a restaurant on the outskirts of Sing Buri overlooking a rice padi when a ute pulled up out front and about 5 guys jumped out armed with spray packs all without a single item of protection. They immediately began spraying herbicide close by and upwind of us around the car park covering the bikes and cars and and anything else that got in their way. None of the customers seemed all that fussed about it except for their now watery eyes and running noses. Their lack of response just brought it home to me just how little respect the Thais have for safe chemical use and their own health when it comes to these matters.

And more to the point, of just how little respect they have for ANYBODY, or, ANYTHING around them.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
