Manchester is even better on arrival, scan your Passport and stare into a camera and you're through, I'm outside having a Cigarette in less than 10 minutes of the Plane doors opening.

Even quicker if you'd had an onward UK flight it seems :

I agree with that, but in fairness, its heading for the big terminal in the sky soon after the redevelopment is finished.

The last time I came through immigration (Jan 18) the line up was huge, down the corridor towards the shops. I'm in and out of the airport a minimum of 8 times a year and am fast tracked through immigration on my departure but have to stand in the huge lines on my arrival back to LOS. Is there a fast track line on arrival at Suvarnabhumi that you pay a few thousand baht to get a fast track card like say in Dubai?
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

There are a couple of them, but not cheap and I do not know if they have a "card" as such:

The whole area is being redeveloped and some of that is already apparent.

More from the people on the street......http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2011/02 ... 49699.html

With the risk of being bashed, they should get professional foreigners to run the place. Poaching from Singapore and Hong Kong comes to mind. Pete

I agree Pete, Changi airport is one of the cleanest and well run airports that I have ever been through. Puts T3 at Heathrow to shame.
Maybe BAA creaming off to much, rather than reinvesting it back into the airport?

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
