Ridiculous !!!! Yet another TIT !!!! Two days only ???? Friday & Saturday ???? Is there yet another Thai holiday on the Friday to allow BKK people to attend day one ???

Feel sorry for all of those people that have booked to come in June thinking it will be held then as it has been for the last ten years. The local rag that printed the wrong dates will also be a laughing stock.
Nothing like a good bit of management, organization and communication and this has been nothing like a good bit of mana..................

Don't blame the local rag - it's not them that will be a laughing stock. All they did was print the dates that were up (and still are up!) on the TAT website http://www.tatnews.org/events/events/2011/jun2011.asp!

To find out whether the various left hands had any idea what the various right hands were doing I sent the exact same email as above (thanks for the Thai!) to the TAT Prachuapkhirikhan office.
I received the following reply;

JAZZ festival will be in August was the news I heard last night - complete shambles this year. I spoke to a guy who said he has just got the contract to organise it - he intends to get it back to Hilton area. Dont shoot the messenger on this one please!

Ten years of jazz on the beach in Hua Hin, this year will be the 10th annual Hua Hin Jazz Festival. The latest dates for the 2011 Hua Hin Jazz Festival according to the TAT office are August 26 - 27, 2011. Note the August, two months later than it is usually held. No lineup or venue information is available yet and the dates have already been changed several times.
Main sponsor will be Chang, I have spoken to a guy who is working on the acts, he has promised some great people and a move back to the old years, hope so!!
I think it was 2004 when there were stages in the Red Cross area and at the end of Sa song road then another on the road to the beach, that whole area was buzzing, it was the best one ever for me!
