Since I'm in the list I voted for hhfarang and prcscct, both informative, both post Hua Hin relevant material when they can, and both are very quick to offer assistance - all very good traits for forum members.

Yes, very very close to voting for the old man Sand, for his incisive, no-baloney critiques of religion and world events, and equally for their wit and comedy value

But voted for Pete & HHF for these very reasons. Both happy to relay personal experiences and info in an effort to help others, free of any self-interest like having a business here etc. If there's anyone anywhere that's contributed as much to an area forum, (that's not their 'chosen' place) as Pete has, I'd like to see it.

Thought it would have been unfair not to give them the vote purely because of a lack of wit and humour, it's simply not a trait Europeans/Aussies would expect, or even notice, from our American cousins. For all we know their posts may be laden with it, and have all the German readers rolling round the floor everyday, cracking up.

Not meaningful at all, just a bit of fun and it gets people complimenting other people which is always nice.

An interesting spectrum list of posters with Mr Plum at one end and Sandman at the other end. Always good to keep them apart. Not implying the sane are only in the middle but Mags is a wonderful voice of reason. For those, like me, not in Thailand it's good to have a mix of news and opinions from local mildly insane, highly amusing and droll posters.
However, for sheer bollocks my admiration goes to Sandman.
