Good news, well hope so :) The kitten is down on the ground with Mum. It is now gone behind the big pot. It can walk, but is limping a little. It looks like a few bites, so must have been quite a scrap. Mum must be feeding it, if not it would not have survived. I am going to try to keep Mum here even if it means feeding her. Once the kitten is strong I will stop feeding and leave them to their natural source of food. Will monitor the situation most of the day.

This morning, no kitten, no mother. It was quiet in the night, so all I can hope is mother cat has moved the kitten to a safer place. I am trying not to think of the other possibility. I think if there had been a problem the mother would be here this morning, looking and crying...we probably will not know.

Thanks everyone for the support.

The kitten is still alive, it is around the other side of the house. I took it in a washed it, tried to give a little water, lots of meowing, but ok, a little weak. I have made it a little bed in an old cardboard box, it seems comfortable. Mother has eaten raw egg and tuna. She is quite hostile, spitting all the time. I hope things will work out. If someone want a lovely little kitten in a couple of week when it is better, please PM me. :)
