As you may be aware QUADMASTER is running a FREE DRAW competition to win a FREE ATV. (http://www.quadmaster.co.th)
The draw will be held at the showroom on the 17th December 2011.
In order to make it impartial and a bit more interesting, we would like to enlist the services of a 'celebrity' to conduct the draw for us.
Not being the most creative of folks we thought we might ask the Hua Hin Forum community to chuck in some ideas
(which shows just how desperate we are!)
Hi Guys,
What we were trying to say is that we are looking for the winner to be someone who is either a resident (local or western) or has a base in Thailand and comes back on a semi/regular basis. Like you said, with a house/apartment here for holidays or living here part of the year. We did not want to specify resident status only, as we felt this would be too narrow, but did not want it to be open to pure tourists either as then we have to deal with the cost and hassle of export, shipping and overseas regulations etc.
Does that make sense?
Welcome suggestions on how we might change the wording to improve.
"Those working or resident in Thailand, or with a regularly used residential base here."
Or...
either a resident (local or western) or has a base in Thailand and comes back on a semi/regular basis
and "Tourists excluded" and/or the quad bike is intended for use in and around Hua Hin, any costs for transporting it elsewhere will be the responsibility of the winner.

Let as few people as possible into the competition IMO!!
In all seriousness, why not keep it open to ''all comers'', surely only good for business. But as DM stated, add something like -free delivery to the Hua Hin area, any additional costs relating to transportation out of the area, customs clearance, export/import duties to be borne by the winning participant

No official notification yet, but for anyone biting their nails in anticipation, the winner was someone called Jojo. [Bastard!]
Very nice piece of kit, about 80k's worth.
Had a look round the shop, which I've been meaning to do for ages, and there are some lovely big boys' toys in there.
Probably somewhere best avoided after a couple of drinks if you have your credit card in your pocket...
