OK Splitlid - nice one - getting there with plan 2 IMO. The kitchen layout looks much better. Just a couple more things to perfect it - as suggested earlier why not have just one shared bathroom between bedrooms 2 and 3? Use the freed up space to make a walk in closet for bedroom one.
And - serious one this - think about access/egress from the pool. As it stands it looks as if pool users will have to paddle through either the kitchen or the master bedroom. To be honest if guests used the pool the owner wouldn't want either of those options?

Maybe baths in a bathroom are an English thing?
The only reason I say that is because my letting agents in London have been going on to me for years about getting rid of the bath, open the space up and just have a shower facility.
Indeed, when I go back home, most bathrooms I use from my parents', to friends' and mine have a bath with shower attachment.
I never use the bath.

You're probably right Lomu. Many apartments in the UK now are shower room only - and as mentioned earlier expats in the LOS do tend to use showers all the time. But aiming at farang buyers, particularly when there are 3 bathrooms anyway - I do think it's something many would expect (even if they find they don't use the bath much after a while!)

It is different in that climate though. I still like a bath now and then in the UK to the extent that when moving last year I ignored the apartments which were shower only. Maybe it's a female thing - ever tried shaving your legs in the shower?

It's OK Takiap - I have seen Lomus' legs many times and can honestly say that they wouldn't benefit at all from shaving. The whole thing is purely academic!

your serious point about the pool and guests isnt really serious is it? They go through the lounge. Nowhere near the master bedroom, possibly touching the kitchen area, possibly.
come on, really, if i want breakfast in bed, do i seriously have to 'egress' through the lounge to get to the master bedroom.

Yes, if I ever end up having another place built, there'll be no inside toilet at all.

Must be an African thing... we in America stopped using outhouses in the 1940's even in most rural areas, and just wait until you try to sell a bathroom-less house.

As far as tubs go. I spent 100k+ to have a corner jacuzzi tub put into our master bathroom and it has been used exactly once in over 6 years.

A shared bathroom between two bedrooms is good only if both of the bedrooms are not occupied full time. We did that between our daughter's bedroom and a fourth bedroom that has never been used as a bedroom but has some (dusty ) exercise equipment in it. The advantage was that the bathroom is bigger and is easily accessible from not only the two bedrooms, but the loft or upstairs living room/sitting area as well.
