Success. Used Krung Thai and Market Village. No problems at all and they were very helpful. They took a copy of my wife's ID card, my driving licence and passport. Less than half an hour and all sorted with ATM and internet banking.

Does Krung Thai still give 0% interest on saving accounts in the name of aliens, as they call it?
