Apparently, having a water feature by the entrance of the home has some kind of Feng Shui meaning, that's why you often see those small waterfalls and fountains outside Chinese owned houses. An elderly Chinese neighbour I used to have explained it to me many years ago but I forget the details.
Yes, quite correct. But I am sure any Chinaman worth his confucius will employ a Feng Shui adviser before forking out 20 Million Baht.

In Feng Shui terms, I think if the water is flowing towards the house it means you will have a life of wealth and abundance - so no problem with the villa price, then. :-)
Reminds me of a former boss in SEA who employed the services of a Feng Shui master for her office. How we all rolled our eyes! Given her shyness of work, we were all hoping he would do something to have some work flowing into it! :-)
