Police interested? Your joking of course.

Barclaycard will hold the suspected funds in suspension so no interest accrued. There will be a fair amount of form filling and evidence required but at the end of the day I expect the 'Financial Ombudsman' will sort it out for me yet again

Well I know the police have a very poor reputation but they can only investigate if they are informed of the problem and I wondered whether you had bothered or simply considered it part of the TIT scenario?

If I don't succeed in getting this lot back and getting my longstanding loans repaid I'll end up being a victim of the 'Homeless foreigners in Thailand 'lack assistance'' thread :laugh:

I wouldn't, if I were you. If reference numbers *are* required, they'll almost certainly expect them to be dated within 48 hours of the discovery.

Go to the police and get the report now, just in case.
