Re: Clothes Dryer Question
So there are 2 points worthy of discussion.
Is it best to bring a pre-owned electrical appliance to Thai and make any adjustments necessary to make it functional OR dump it and get a new Thai model here.

Re: Clothes Dryer Question
Well she is a Thai model.... I have heard that the 50HZ issue isn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be.... But I agree it makes sense that it could be .... With that said, I will do more research on that issue.. The Thai wife really loves having the dryer for the reasons already discussed in this thread... Happy Wife, Happy Life!!!!!

Re: Clothes Dryer Question
BOZ, in the UK Mrs BB would only use a dryer, and the reasons are as you stated. When we moved here, I asked if I needed to buy a Dryer. She replied by asking if I was stupid - this is Thailand.

Re: Clothes Dryer Question
Parts and service could be a big problem here should an imported model ever break...
And Big Boys points are valid, especially the one about pulling the shirts, especially t-shirts out of the dryer before it stops running and putting them on hangers. They are soft and rarely need ironing, and t-shirts keep their shape better.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
